SKNBYSN Bra Alternative Tips

Prepare Your Skin. 

Clean and dry the area around your breasts thoroughly. Any lotions, oils, or powders should be wiped off, as they can interfere with the adhesive. Some people recommend gently exfoliating to remove dead skin cells and help with adhesion.

Peel Off the Protective Backing.

Most nipple cover/bra alternatives have a sticky side that you apply to your skin. Carefully peel off the protective backing from the adhesive side, taking care not to touch the adhesive part to avoid compromising its stickiness.

Hold the nipple cover by the edges (avoiding the sticky part). Place it over your nipple, centering it so that it fully covers the area. Press gently to secure it in place. 

If needed, adjust the position to make sure it’s comfortable and secure.

When it's time to remove them, do so gently. Start at one edge and slowly peel them off. If there’s any residue left on your skin, you can clean it off with a gentle cleanser or makeup remover.

We always recommend patch testing before using SKNBYSN products due to the adhesive that is on our products. To do this, either apply a small piece of Tape on the breast area, without stretching the tape. Leave it on for 24 hours then peel it off slowly OR apply to Silicone Bra Alternatives on your skin for 24 hours. This is to ensure that you have no sensitivity or allergies to the tape or the adhesive. 
If irritation or redness occurs during or after patch testing, discontinue use.

Only apply your bra alternative to clean, dry skin that is free of moisturisers and oils. Do not apply to irritated, sunburned or sensitive skin.
